Flourish with me!

Live your life in Vivid Color!

I am a positive psychology coach who helps moms like you transform the way you participate in your life so that you can create more joy, gratitude and purpose for yourself.  I am passionate about helping others live their most fulfilled and authentic life. I take a strengths-based approach to help create positive shifts one conversation at a time.

I married my college sweetheart and we have been married 24 amazing years. I’m a mom of 2 (who we call the buddies): an 18 year old son in college and a 16 year old daughter who is a junior in high school.  I was a working mom the entire time we raised our buddies.

I’ve been the soccer mom, the swim mom, the softball mom, the track and field mom, the band mom, you name it.  I know the stress of balancing home life, kiddos and work.  I’ve been there.

I have a BA in Psychology and Sociology and an MBA focused on leadership and management. I received a certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from the Flourishing Center in 2021 and am currently training in the Applied Positive Psychology Coaching program through the ICF accredited Flourishing Center.

With 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I’ve been a working mom in many fast-moving, cut-throat, highly demanding environments. I’ve seen how many sales representatives thrive under pressure and recover from set-backs and how others have succumbed to anxiety and stress.  I’ve seen fellow working moms anguish over how to balance work and life. I have survived and thrived during the teenage years of angst and frustration using character strengths to understand my kids.

I have always been an avid reader and over the years have turned to many self-help books to learn more about topic such as happiness, well-being, mindfulness, and understanding and utilizing my strengths in order to become my most resilient self.  As a working mom of two, I wanted to show up as my best possible self, to successfully balance my most important role as mom and also thrive in my career.  I wanted my kids to be happy and emotionally resilient. One of my favorite approaches to understanding individual human behavior is through the “Values In Action” VIA Character Strengths assessment.  I approach my life through my top five strengths which include Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence, Zest, Love, Learning and Hope.

I hail from Buffalo, NY and am a fierce Buffalo Bills Mafia member, fanatic about my football team.  I am a loyal Peloton member and spend inordinate amounts of time on my bike listening to the wisdom of Robin Arzon.  Injuries retired my running career, but I have participated in many half-marathons, multiple Tough Mudder obstacle races and had a year of family 5ks that my husband and buddies ran with me.

I am in love with animals, big and small and currently have three of my own.  I am a certified Scuba Diver and have had the honor of cage diving with Andy Cassagrande and Great White Sharks at Guadalupe Island.  I am a bookworm, a Hi-Caf Cinnamon Tea -aholic, a trapeze artist, and an archer.   I now reside in the beautiful state of Oregon where you can find me skiing with the family, hiking with my husband and dogs, travelling the world or crafting away on my sewing machine.
